Work in Progress
My most recent undertaking is an interactive hydroponic garden that will be a part of a case study house in Aiguablava, Spain. It takes the data collected by the hydroponic system (Temperature, Humidity, Soil Moisture, and PH balance) and creates a generative composition based on these levels as well as the date, time, and season. The plants themselves will also be touch sensitive and the system will respond to continued interaction by outputting a more robust composition that draws from a historical database of all the data collected from the system to date. With the installation their will be an online component where people will be able to hear how the garden is doing from all over the world. Below is a proof of concept video exploring touch interaction with a house plant.
